About this Course

Soil Sponges are an easy, no-cost method of increasing water retention and organic matter in the soil. And they can help reduce your water bill! Soil sponges improve the health and fortitude of trees, berries and vegetables. They also benefit xeric landscaping. WE will dig several sponges as a demonstration at the Gutierrez-Hubbell Open Space.
